Every trade feeds the Mortar. The Mortar buys PESTLE. Every four hours, the Grind settles. Stay in. Own your share.
Every PESTLE trade pays a 3% fee. Two of those three points are not really a fee at all — they are a standing buy order. The Mortar collects them, buys PESTLE on the open market, and splits the PESTLE it bought across everyone staked. That is the whole machine.
Fees from every PESTLE trade land in the Mortar as fuel. Nobody votes, proposes or claims for this to happen — it happens on every trade, all day.
fuel — / threshold —When the fuel reaches the threshold, the Mortar buys PESTLE on the open market. Not an emission, not a promise — a transaction, with a hash, visible on the chart while it happens.
buybacks — / executed on-chainEvery four hours the Grind settles. The PESTLE bought during that Grind is split pro-rata across every position still in the Mortar, and compounds straight into it.
grind 4 hours / split pro-rataFees in, buys out, split on a clock. Inputs public. Buys public. Settlement public. The Mortar has no discretion and nothing to decide: it collects, it buys, it splits, it reports.
Every PESTLE trade carries the fee. The trader pays it. Holders do not, stakers do not, the treasury does not.
It piles up in the Mortar. The other 1% covers marketing and PESTLE maintenance — stated in full below, not buried.
Threshold, not timer. The Mortar waits until there is enough fuel to buy properly instead of dusting the chain with pointless transactions in a quiet hour.
The Mortar buys PESTLE on the open market. It happens several times inside a single Grind if the volume pays for it. Watch the buyback — it is a transaction, not a claim.
It is not minted and it is not borrowed from tomorrow. It is PESTLE that was purchased, with real fees, from the market.
The PESTLE bought during that Grind is split pro-rata across everyone still in the Mortar and compounds into their position. Then the next Grind starts immediately.
Buys PESTLE on the open market. This is the engine, and it is what the Grind pays out.
Keeps the lights on and keeps the Mortar in front of people.
1% → marketing and PESTLE maintenance. 2% → buybacks. That is the entire fee. It is printed on the landing page, in bold, because a split you have to dig for is a split you should not trust.
The Mortar does four things and nothing else. There is no discretion to abuse, no governance theatre, no strategy that changes when it stops working.
The 2% stacks up inside the Mortar as Grind Fuel. Threshold, not timer — it waits until a buy is worth making.
Fuel hits the threshold and the Mortar buys PESTLE on the open market. Watch the buyback. It lands on the chart like anyone else's order.
Settlement. Everything bought during the Grind is split pro-rata and compounded into every position that was still in the Mortar.
Leave the Mortar before settlement and you forfeit that Grind — it falls to the Stakers who stayed. No penalties, no lockups. Just opportunity cost.
Other staking protocols print your rewards.
The Mortar buys them.
TRADING FEEDS THE MORTAR. THE MORTAR BUYS PESTLE. STAKERS GET THE GRIND. / pro-rata, every four hours, bought on-chain
You only earn a Grind if you are still in the Mortar when that Grind settles. Enter inside the first 75% of a Grind and you are in that Grind. Enter in the closing stretch and your stake waits for the next one, so nobody buys a slice of four hours of other people's volume thirty seconds before the bell.
Your share MOVES while a Grind is running. Full exits leave the denominator, so those who stay watch their share tick up — which is exactly where forfeited Grinds go: to the Stakers who stayed, automatically, with no separate pool. We are saying it out loud rather than implying it. The flip side is that the live figure is a genuine estimate until the moment it settles.
EVERY USER ROUNDS DOWN. ALWAYS. The maths is integer maths in wei. Every position rounds down, and the remainder stays in the Mortar and rolls into the next Grind. It is not a hidden fee, it is not swept to the team, and it is not a footnote — it is printed here because you deserve to know where the last decimal goes.
Honest status: the panel above ships today with ENTER and EXIT only, because that is the custodial tech that exists. GRIND MORE and CLAIM GRIND appear when payouts leave dry-run. The Grind engine itself is running: every Grind figure on this page is read live from it, and it reports zero because the vault has had no activity yet — not because it is switched off.
A share of the PESTLE the Mortar bought on the open market during each 4-hour Grind, proportional to your share of the eligible stake, compounded straight into your position. Not an emission, not a printed reward, not a promised rate. If the fee generated nothing that Grind, your Grind is nothing — and the Mortar will say so.
3% on PESTLE trades. 1% → marketing and PESTLE maintenance. 2% → buybacks. The 2% is the engine: it is what the Mortar spends buying PESTLE, and it is what the Grind pays out. That is the whole split, printed on the landing page and repeated here so it cannot be quietly changed in a doc nobody reads.
A full exit before settlement forfeits that Grind — the AT RISK warning tells you the estimated amount before you confirm, and asks you to press EXIT ANYWAY. A partial withdrawal does not forfeit it: your eligible stake drops by the amount you took, and the remainder settles normally. After settlement, the ground PESTLE is yours permanently; unstaking never claws it back.
To the Stakers who stayed. Full exits leave the denominator, so the remaining eligible stake divides the same pot — your share rises automatically, with no separate pool and no redistribution step. We are stating that plainly rather than implying it, because a protocol that is vague about forfeited rewards is a protocol that is doing something with them.
Because the denominator moves. People enter at snapshots, people leave and forfeit, and buybacks land throughout the Grind — so the live number is a real calculation on incomplete inputs. It is labelled EST. CURRENT GRIND / UNSETTLED everywhere it appears, and it becomes final at settlement. An estimate is never rendered as a guarantee.
No. V0 is custodial. Staked PESTLE sits in a team-held vault wallet, and that same wallet executes the buybacks. What it is instead is observable: the address is published, the balance is public, and every buyback is a transaction on a chart you can open. The pool contract comes later. Don't trust the Mortar. Watch it.
Integer maths in wei. Every user rounds down, and the remainder stays in the Mortar and rolls into the next Grind. Nobody sweeps it, and it does not quietly become revenue.
It is a box. PESTLE is a memecoin experiment with no promise of profit, yield, or utility. Trade it like the toy it is — or better, just watch the Mortar grind.
